The flood waters recede

Spent a couple hours this morning checking out the damage from Susquehanna River flood waters. The mighty river is back in it’s banks along Long Level and Wrightsville and shore line residents are moving back into their homes and starting the effort of cleaning up after Tropical Storm Lee.

Windy

Was shooting a Central League baseball game in Glen Rock this evening. Thunderstorms threatened several times but the only problem we had were a minute or two of really strong wind. Turned around from the field to keep dirt from the infield from blowing into my eyes and saw this.

The woman’s umbrella blew apart in the strong wind and her granddaughter tried to help her. Got a few frames off, this was the best of the bunch.

A nice storm rolled in during the start of the Revs game against Southern Maryland last evening. Spent the first two innings trying to capture some of the big lightning bolts that were going off.

Last Dance

I’m slowly working my way through the 1800 + images I shot at Mike and Sarah’s wedding yesterday and had to share this frame from their last dance. This photo would have been almost impossible a year ago, the new generation of Nikon cameras and their ability to record quality images at high ISO’s are truly amazing.

Spent the day, yesterday, photographing the wedding of my friends Sarah and Mike Bosco. The weather was beautiful, as was the bride, and a good group of friends at the wedding made it all that much better!
